Tai Chi

Woodwork & Restoration
Develop new skills and create practical, beautiful projects in our friendly woodwork group. The group runs on three seperate mornings and participants can elect to attend as many times in a week as they wish . From basic woodworking techniques to more advanced crafts, you’ll find guidance and support whatever your skill level. Enjoy a creative, rewarding experience while connecting with fellow woodworking enthusiasts.
The group members regularly produce useful and decorative items or undertake furniture restoration, providing participants with a genuine sense of accomplishment. Safety and enjoyment are always priorities, ensuring a comfortable environment for everyone.

The Friendship Singers Choir

How do I join?
Joining our activities is easy! Simply sign up through our website, our social media channels or contact us directly. We welcome new members and look forward to seeing you at our events.
How to book events?
One-off events are promoted through our website and members newsletter. Bookings can be made filling in the form sent out with the newsletter or by emailing us. We recommend booking early to secure your spot.
Are there age limits?
Our activities are designed for individuals aged 50 and over. We believe in creating an inclusive environment for everyone. All are welcome to participate and enjoy.
What if I'm new?
If you’re new, don’t worry! Our friendly members will help you feel at home. Join us for a taster session to see what activities you enjoy.
Can I bring friends?
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring friends along to share the experience. The more, the merrier at our events!
Do I need any special skills or experience?
No special skills or experience are required! Our activities are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned participants. Everyone is warmly encouraged to join in and have fun.
